The series premier Shadows is a great starts to The Rephaim series by Paula Weston.  I usually do not like urban fantasy books, but I like this book.  I read this synopsis and thought I would give it a try.  I am so glad I did.  I really got sucked into Ms. Weston’s world of Angles and Demons, the pages started turning, and before you know it I am now a fan of this author’s urban fantasy. 

The plot was great, the characters were enjoyable, and the mystery was interesting.  What more can you want?  This book had a paranormal feel and piqued my interest with the New Adult vibe and unique plot.  I immediately connected with the characters and fell in love with Rafa.  I highly recommend this book for a new take on the Angels and Demons genre. 

Synopsis:
